We had done a courtesy visit to Harapan Kita Women and Children Hospital this August.
An international joint research project using Smart Eye Camera (SEC) has been started this year. Dr. Shimizu and Mr. Nakayama from OUI Inc. visited the site to confirm the progress and inspect the site.
Use in anterior segment screening of newborns in the ICU(intensive care unit).
Fundus examination for retinopathy of prematurity.
Observation of the optic nerve
SEC was used at HKWCH in many different scenarios!
We will continue to collaborate with HKWCH to reduce blindness in the world while providing evidence!
