Courtesy visit to Udayana University in Indonesia

On August 6–9, 2022, OUI Inc. had a courtesy visit to Udayana University (UNUD) and Sanglah Central General Hospital in Bali, where the site of the Smart Eye Camera (SEC) project going in Indonesia. UNUD is the largest public hospital and teaching hospital in Bali.

Mr. Nakayama visited UNUD for the purpose of progress checks and site inspections after the conference of the joint research using SEC.

We also participated in a free eye camp (eye examination and surgery) with Professor Bill Morgan (Managing director of the Lions Eye Institute, and Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Western Australia) of the John Fawcett Foundation, which has been supporting eye care in Bali for 20 years, together with Udayana University!
