OUI Inc. Joins Asia-Pacific Prevention of Blindness Association (APBA) in Vietnam for a Charity Cataract Camp at the Bac Kan General Hospital

From August 9 to August 11, three members of OUI Inc. participated in the annual charity cataract camp in Vietnam. Dr. Eisuke Shimizu, Mr. Hiroki Nishimura, and Dr. Rohan Khemlani contributed in the activities at Bac Kan province’s Bac Kan General Hospital. We worked together with many local volunteers.

Close to 80 patients were treated for cataract. Here is a look into it:

OUI Inc. was able to use their Smart Eye Camera’s slit-lamp model and the fundus camera to perform check-ups before and after the surgeries.

OUI Inc. also provided donations in forms of sunglasses, eye drops, and surgical equipment.
