OUI Inc. participated in 32nd APACRS in Kyoto, Japan
Our CEO, Eisuke Shimizu was invited for presentation on 32nd Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (APACRS) in Kyoto, Japan.
There, we had opportunities to introduce our activities in Vietnam.
Eisuke Shimizu and Hiroyuki Yazu, founders of OUI Inc. visited Vietnam and participated in the medical support activities twice: October 2017 and December 2018.
For the patients having difficulties to daily access to medical care, we undertook activities such as surgery for Cataract and provision of ophthalmologic medical materials.
In the presentation, we introduced why we, the two residential ophthalmologists in Japan dared to undertake such activities: the origin of purpose of medical services was there!!
This experience gave us the important inspiration for inventing Smart Eye Camera (SEC).
We strongly hope that more young medical professionals involve themselves in such activities.
We will again visit Vietnam and undertake medical support activities in November 2019!!
